PARIS EASTSIDE:
​French cuisine made simple

At Paris Eastside we believe that everybody can cook.
​We are teaching simple but elegant French fare since 2003, first in Paris, then in Seattle and Bellevue, and now online.
​We have been the first ones to teach Seattleites and visitors alike how to make French macarons, eclairs and other popular French pastries like kouign amann.
In addition to our in-person pastry classes we also offer online cooking classes and in-person or online team building cooking classes.
Online classes
Online classes are a fun way to learn how to make delicious recipes from the comfort and safety of your home. Classes are taught on Zoom. Lists of ingredients and equipment to have on hand are sent upon reservation.​
In-person classes
We will resume our in-person classes when King county will be in reopening phase 3, with extra-precautions like a spread-out work space, masks and a lot of hands washing...

​We can accommodate your team building needs whether you prefer a day time activity or an evening of cooking fun. We are also organized to host your cooking team building on Zoom, perfect for those spread out teams...

SPECIALIZING IN SMALL TEAMS

​Small teams also need to build team spirit, and as a small company ourselves we know that it can be complicated to plan a private activity for a small group. That's why we organize cooking fun for teams from 6 to 10 members.

Private Team Cooking Class  I arranged for my team of 6 to have a private cooking class with Mme Foucher at her home. Myself and the team honestly could not express how much we enjoyed ourselves and the experience! Mme Foucher had so many great tips and tricks she shared with us during the process so not only did we make a delicious lunch, but we also learned about quality of ingredients, some unique French ingredients uncommon in the US, different methods of cooking and the process used with different types of cookware. 
Mme Foucher herself was a wonderful host! Warm, friendly, conversational, courteous. I highly recommend her instruction, and can only imagine her other courses are just as great.

Technique and Finesse  As a "serious amateur" and pastry enthusiast, I thoroughly enjoyed Muriel's instruction in her macaron class. Her clear description of overall technique as well as her hands-on guidance in the handling of this temperamental treat were of such a help. The class will definitely accelerate my pastry capabilities and I look forward to taking another class from Muriel in the future!
Outstanding Experience  I purchased a cooking class and dinner for 8 at a silent auction. Muriel did such a wonderful job. It was so much fun, and everyone in the group had an amazing time. Muriel sat down and joined us for dinner. Bad part was was that we kept her for so much longer than expected. We were just having so much fun!!!
