Teisseire Grenadine Syrup
Fruit syrups have always been a part of the French way of drinking, whether mixed with water, Perrier, lemonade, milk, pastis, or even beer. Try it with the most popular mixer --plain water-- for a flavorful thirst quencher (1 part syrup to 7 times water). Grenade is the French word for pomegranate, and originally grenadine syrup was made from pomegranate juice and sugar. Today, grenadine is the name loosely applied to syrups made from a mixture of other dark-red fruits. The Teisseire grenadine syrup gets its flavor from the concentrated juices of five fruits: raspberry, elderberry, red currant, blackcurrant, and lemon. This product comes in a 60cl (20.3 fl oz) bottle.
